What we collect
When you submit our Request for Quote (RFQ) form, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, email address, phone number, project details, target date, quantity, material and finish selections, and any files you attach (CAD files, PDFs, drawings, or reference photos).
We do not currently use website analytics, advertising tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers. If we add any in the future, this policy will be updated.
Our Contact page and footer embed a Google Maps map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads. We do not control or have access to those cookies.
Standard web server logs may record IP addresses, browser type, and visit timestamps for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for marketing or individual tracking.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to quote requests and follow up on submitted projects.
- Deliver information you've asked for about our services.
- Send occasional follow-up communications about your project or related work. We don't send routine promotional newsletters or unsolicited marketing campaigns.
- Improve our quoting process and internal recordkeeping.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share project information with trusted finishing and coating partners when a project requires their services. Those partners are bound by confidentiality expectations consistent with our normal business relationships.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention
RFQ submissions and project files are retained for as long as we maintain an active or potential business relationship, plus a reasonable period for recordkeeping, typically seven years for tax and contractual records.
You can request deletion of your information by emailing hello@carpatiansmfg.com. Some records may be retained where required by law.
Your choices
- You can opt out of follow-up communications at any time by replying to any message or emailing hello@carpatiansmfg.com.
- You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or request corrections, by contacting us.
Children
This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Canadian users
We occasionally serve Canadian customers. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA, and we honor those rights consistent with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted to active customers.
